| For more information on the calls used in this video, please visit us at http://www.downwindoutdoors.com We walked into this morning's setup with an extra high level of confidence that there will be coyotes nearby within calling distance. Although we always try to put ourselves where we think the coyotes are located, having a friend call you upon a new property to take care of a "coyote infestation" is always a bonus and a well-received tip. It would only take a matter of minutes to prove credible, as the first coyote was spotted crossing our field in the dark as we built a blind. Too early to film, we let this coyote walk away, hoping it would not go far. As the sky began to break and proper filming light drew near, believe it or not, another coyote was spotted in the middle of the field. When he suddenly and quickly started to retreat back to his heavy-cover area, perhaps catching a whiff of that previous coyote, we decided the camera light was good enough and we wouldn't let this coyote go out of sight without first attempting to call him in. And call him in, we did. Knowing there was still at least one more coyote in the area, we were on high alert as one should always be, for more coyotes to come into the stand. Another minute of calling and our original coyote came in, bringing not one, but two more coyotes! Dumping one of these as well, Jerrod completed an exciting double to conclude DownWind Outdoors' 2012 season here in New York.
