| This LONG ISLAND, NY- V.F.W. Veterans of Foreign Wars (non-profit) will possible be closing down due to Hurricane Sandy damage. FEMA has denied them the funding to rebuild so like all great military leaders they are digging in get ready to fight to save the post. They are throwing a" Pig Roast" fundraiser to save their post. If you live in the New York, New Jersey area or are close by come eat and drink with veterans from all wars and help save the post. If you can't make it please try and to send them check or money order for whatever you can afford. These places are landmarks for veterans and we need them for our veterans returning home.
